寄养家庭:急救与心肺复苏标准
First Aid & CPR Arizona
Becoming a licensed foster parent in Arizona means providing a safe home to a child in the care of the Department of Child Safety. Among the licensing tasks: applicants must be CPR- and first-aid certified before a license is issued.
急救要求
Under Arizona Administrative Code R21-6-303 (Training Requirements), foster-parent applicants must be CPR- and first-aid certified to obtain a license, with CPR skills demonstrated and taught by an instructor certified through a nationally recognized association. First-aid training must likewise be taught by a qualified instructor or licensed medical professional.
The requirement is administered by the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS), Office of Licensing and Regulation. Foster parents must present evidence of current CPR and first-aid certification on an ongoing basis; certain medically qualified caregivers may be granted a waiver. The certificate is one requirement in addition to the home study and suitability assessment.
严重过敏与过敏性休克
A recognized first-aid certificate covers recognizing and responding to severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), including the use of an epinephrine auto-injector.
